| Description | The construction industry employs a significant proportion of the Australian workforce. It is a complex sector of the economy, and costly legal disputes often arise from inadequate knowledge of contract law, contract administration and dispute resolution procedures. The object of this course is to provide participants with the legal skills and knowledge in order to avoid such disputes. The course is open to both lawyers and other professionals with relevant qualifications and industry experience. |

| Admission Requirements: Onshore course offerings | A recognised Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent training in a relevant discipline; or A diploma or other tertiary qualification (university or TAFE) plus at least two years' practice in a relevant field; or A recognised industry-based qualification plus at least two years' experience holding a senior and responsible position within business/industry; or At least five years' approved experience in a field of contract administration. English competence. |
| Special Requirements | The units in this course are taught in intensive mode. Each intensive unit will consist of a week-long teaching block followed by up to eight weeks for completion of assessments. Students should refer to unit guides and the teaching timetable for further information. |
