Description Theatre and Drama is an exciting major that offers excellent opportunities to develop practical and analytical skills in a broad range of theatre and performance styles. As well as being introduced to many different forms of historical, critical and creative practices, students will be offered the opportunity to develop skills in the areas of acting; design; lighting and sound; production and stage management; and publicity. Upon completion of the major, graduates will be skilled and confident in their ability to undertake critical and creative work in the area.
Employment Prospects Graduates may choose to pursue a career as a producer/director, actor, stage manager or scriptwriter, find jobs in the television and film industry or decide to enter the teaching profession. Some potential employers may be theatre/drama companies and radio/television networks.
