Description Theology at Murdoch University is administered in association with the Perth College of Divinity (Inc.), an interdenominational body coordinating the joint teaching of theology amongst the following constituent colleges: John Wollaston Theological College, College of Theology of the University of Notre Dame Australia, and the Perth Theological Hall of the Uniting Church.
Employment Prospects Students in Theology training for ordained ministry are selected by their respective churches. In addition teachers in church schools need to do some Theology. Other employment prospects exist as church youth workers and chaplains in government schools.
Admission Requirements: Onshore course offerings As per normal undergraduate admission requirements.

Internet access is required for students studying externally; exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Excluded Minors Theology
Professional Recognition This course is a professional qualification for ministry. When completed in conjunction with prescribed Church requirements, it is a recognised university qualification in Western Australia for ordination in the Anglican Church of Australia and the Uniting Church of Australia.
Languages and Writing Skills Theology students are strongly encouraged to include a writing unit in their selection of a general elective at either Part I or Part II. Students undertake study of at least one unit of either Biblical Hebrew or New Testament Greek. It is also recommended that students consider studying a modern language other than English, with Indonesian and Japanese available at Murdoch through the Asian Studies course.

Students may undertake Honours in their final year of study.
