| Description | This unit will be taught in modules and develops further aspects of intensive and extensive animal production systems related to economics and farm management, muscle biology and meat science, lactation and reproduction, biometry, and ration formulation. Emphasis will be placed on small-group work and students will be expected to prepare and present oral and written pieces of work. |
| Contact time | Lectures: 4 hours per week; practicals/workshops: 3 hours per week. |
| Prerequisites | Enrolment in Bachelor of Animal Science; ANS101 Animal Production Systems I and ANS250 Animal Production Systems II and ANS353 Animal Production Systems III. |
