Description This unit aims to develop advanced language skills, both written and spoken, to enable students to function with ease in Japanese. The target level of proficiency is the reading of Japanese newspapers, and ability to present spoken and written expressions of opinion about contemporary Japan.
Contact time Language classes: 4 hours per week (hours may be adapted to class size).
Prerequisites JPN205 Japanese IIIB.
Notes Advanced students including those who have WACE qualification in Japanese as Second Language or equivalent should consult with the Academic Chair of Asian Studies to determine level of entry.
