| Description | This unit focuses on developing practical and conceptual skills in 3D modelling. Students are introduced to industry-standard tools and learn techniques in modelling, texturing and mapping. Students experience a variety of modelling challenges, including characters, props and environments, and learn each step of creative development, from planning to polishing. These skills are contextualised in relation to contemporary theories of spatial design, character development, and game design from varied arts fields, such as architecture, theatre and photography. |
